Objectives

Eligibility Criteria

  • Residents of Odisha.
  • Individuals who have worked as construction workers for a minimum of 90 days in the previous year.
  • Must be registered with the Odisha Building and Other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board.
  • Children of building and other construction workers are eligible.
  • The child must have completed at least one year as a registered beneficiary under the Odisha Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.
  • Financial assistance is provided from class 6th onwards.
  • Maximum two children per family are eligible.
  • For classes 6th and 7th, assistance is applicable only for girl children, whereas for class 8th onwards, both girls and boys are eligible.
  • The beneficiary should have an active bank account with DBT enabled.

  • Financial assistance for education ranging from Rs. 2,000 to Rs. 40,000 per annum, depending on the level of education.

  • Preview the completed form, download, and take a printout.
  • The application will be processed for verification by the District Labour Officer.
  • Upon verification, the educational assistance will be disbursed and updated in the State Scholarship Portal.
